Usually when I write about pubs with playgrounds, they’re about the food as much as the kid-friendly aspect. But in the beautiful weather we’ve been having, sometimes it’s just as nice to know about one that’s a perfect pitstop for a quiet drink on the way back from the beach.
This is so obvious it’s actually daft to write it, but I won’t be posting much over the coming couple of weeks due to being hungover and half-dead from the battle of putting boundaries back in place following the overload of presents and sugar that’s ahead of us.
This week’s been a bit of a tough one for the Little Lewes family, so lucky me to have great writers who are also small Lewes business owners willing to pen me guest posts. (And roll up and contact me if you’d like to do one too – I’m all-ears!).
Honestly, you can kill me now. You will not believe it: until two weeks ago, we had NEVER been to the Half Moon in Plumpton, near Ditchling. And next month we will have lived in Lewes for five years. We simply should know better.
