Readership

Little Lewes began on 1 June 2013 and has slowly and steadily built a readership based mostly in its locality of Lewes and surrounding villages, and the larger towns and cities nearby such as Brighton, Hove, Seaford, Newhaven, Eastbourne and Hastings. The blog also has some readers in London, across the UK and in other countries.

The blog received just over 32,000 unique visits and 38,000 page views over the course of 2014 (source: StatCounter.com). Posts are publicised by direct email subscription, and via WordPress, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+.

Little Lewes doesn’t have a Facebook page, so I’m unable to stage social media giveaways and competitions for which Facebook is a major consideration. Its readers, however, do share some of my posts on Facebook, so it’s not totally out of the picture.
